Presenter Bio- Tim Yuhas

Tim Yuhas is one of the foremost experts in the field of Strength and Conditioning and Human Performance. Coach Yuhas graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Human Performance in 1991.


He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (C.S.C.S) with the National strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also holds certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) as well as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

In 2001 Tim founded Yuhas Performance Training, a private strength and conditioning business specializing in the training of high school, college, and professional athletes.

Prior to founding Yuhas Performance Training, Tim served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Norwich Icebreakers Junior Hockey Club. Prior to his position with the Icebreakers, Coach Yuhas served as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Connecticut at Avery Point's Baseball and Basketball program.

Tim has over 18 years of experience in the field and prides himself in providing his athletes with the most up-to-date cutting edge approach to improving performance and staying healthy. Tim has lectured on the national level including annually at the World Baseball Coaches Convention. He has and continues to work with athletes of all levels including professional athletes from MLB, the NHL and the NFL. He presently lives in East Lyme, Connecticut with his wife, Lisa.
